Imagine Less Judgment and More Unconditional Love…

There is so much judgement in the world right now and even good intentions are dividing people…
We are judging:
- ourselves,
- each other,
- judging people for speaking up,
- for not speaking up,
- for staying in,
- for not staying in,
- for clapping
- or not clapping for the NHS,
- and even for buying too much toilet roll!
Creating more ways to judge each other and create divisions.
This is the opposite of what we are all hoping for
Everyone is on this earth on their own path, living their own struggles, battling their own minds and demons, learning how to move through this life, and will do so in their own ways learning their own lessons in their own time.
It is clear that lots of things need to change for the better and cannot go on or aren’t sustainable. But the main concept behind that is striving for more love, compassion, acceptance and equality.
Rather than create more HATE, let’s all create more LOVE and PEACE! Let’s help or educate others rather than judge and chastise them or accept that they aren’t ready for change yet and focus on what we can do.
We can’t control what others do, only what we do, and how we react.
A lot of actions in the world right now are coming from fear and internal wounding.
The mindset of – “I have been wounded by:
- this event,
- this category of person (because we love to label and put things in boxes),
- this system,
- this way of thinking,
so I am now going to judge you, or wound you back, so that you understand how I felt and demand you make it up to me”.
How will this achieve love, peace and unity?
And how is this better than the original act we feel wounded by?
Like with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, before a child can learn in a classroom, their basic needs have to be met. You can’t demand that people change their beliefs or behaviour to such dramatic degrees when they might be at the bottom of the pyramid…
Real change can only happen with love and lifting up all.
And those who might be considered as the worst behaved (or even evil) people are the ones who actually need the most love and healing.
From a higher perspective of just humans on a planet who are vibrations regardless of who they are what they have or haven’t done, race, gender, age etc. – just humans. If we were to look at the patterns where vibrations were low and where they were high, instinctively we would want to heal the lower ones.
This might include criminals, those considered the worst of society
Underneath our judgement these are people who probably weren’t ever shown love, nurturing and acted out. Over the years of shame spiralling likely believing there is no point aspiring to be any better and that they are not worth it.
We then put these people in prison – more judgement – more shame – more reasons to feel unlovable etc and they of course get worse but yet we judge them even more.
Similarly, as discussed here, there were experiments completed (often referred to as Rat Park) on addiction using mice. Mice were split into communities and isolation and given two drinking bottles, one with water and the other laced with a drug. The experiments showed that the mice in the communities were uninterested in the drugs but the isolated mouse would prefer it every time.
What a profound difference feeling loved, accepted and part of a community makes to even a mouse.
